Headteacher's Welcome

Firstly, may I warmly welcome you to Fairfields School. In our school, the children are at the heart of our practice every day, ensuring that they have many and varied opportunities to enrich their learning adventure.

We want children to feel valued, confident and excited about their learning. They should experience the joys of being creative, solving problems and making discoveries, leading to success and achievement.

We are a school which prides itself on providing an inviting and irresistible learning environment which nurtures and supports each individual child to make steps towards reaching their full potential. We work together to enable our pupils to communicate, to develop socially and emotionally and to achieve as much independence as possible.

Through the learning opportunities provided, not only do our pupils achieve academically, but also thrive physically, socially and emotionally through all that they do. Play is the foundation of our practice, as we know that developmentally this is the best way for our children to become active learners, practice their skills and develop curiosity.

We are constantly aware that each child is unique and we track the progress and needs of each of our pupils individually, enabling them to follow their own learning pathway.

We value highly the partnership we have with parents and carers, as they are the ones who know their child best. We believe that by working together we can navigate through the difficulties and share the successes.

We have an extremely dedicated staff team at Fairfields; a team committed to ensuring every child feels included and who use their expertise to ensure that learning is both successful and fun.
