We have a great opportunity for someone who is seeking an apprenticeship role. You will work in a reception / admin role and be fully supported to achieve a Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner qualification. Training and support will mainly be carried out on site with a requirement to attend a local drop in centre for half a day per month. Apprenticeship wage applies (£3.90/hour).
The role will be varied and working within team of 5. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, confident, reliable, patient and calm.

Learning Support Assistant Level 1 or Level 2
Fairfields is a primary special school catering for children between the ages of 3 and 11 with severe or profound learning, communication and physical difficulties. We also cater for pupils on the autistic spectrum. Some children may have multi-sensory impairment and complex medical difficulties. Our classrooms are designed to help support our pupils’ development and equipped to promote independence, curiosity and active learning. Staff pay great attention to reducing pupils’ barriers to learning; liaising with multi-agency professionals to secure outstanding provision. The number of pupils per class is low with a high adult-pupil ratio. Each class has one teacher and 3-4 learning assistants depending on the age, ability and special needs of the class.
We are looking for Level 1 or Level 2 teaching assistants, dependent on experience to join our dedicated and supportive team. All successful applicants will need to be committed to the belief that all children deserve the opportunity to achieve their full potential. At Fairfields, we believe that all children can achieve. Successful candidates will need to demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of a team. They will need excellent communication skills, good English, Maths and ICT skills. Salary (dependent on experience): £16863-£17972 FTE
